Q. How do you clean finch feeders?
A. How do you clean finch feeders? (doc)
A.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FINCH FEEDERS ARE CONSTRUCTED OF RECYCLED PLASTIC DECKING (LID) AND PVC PIPE (BODY), ALL MADE IN THE USA.

TO CLEAN:

STEP 1 – MAKE SURE THE BAG IS EMPTY!

STEP 2 – PLACE THE ENTIRE “ASSEMBLED FEEDER”, INCLUDING THE LID, BODY, BAG AND WIRE INTO HOT SOAPY WATER.

STEP 2 – WASH THE LID WITH A SCRUB BRUSH, RAG, ETC.

STEP 3 – WASH THE PAINTED BODY WITH A SOFT RAG, OR YOUR HAND. REMEMBER THE BODY (PVC PIPE) HAS 3 LAYERS OF PAINT. THE FIRST  COAT IS AN INDUSTRIAL PRIMER. THE SECOND COAT IS THE HAND PAINTED ART-WORK, AND THE LAST COAT IS AN ACRYLIC UV PROTECTIVE FINISH FOR LONG LASTING BEAUTY.

STEP 4. SCRUB THE BAG, BETWEEN YOUR HANDS, VIGOROUSLY, UNTIL CLEAN.

STEP 5 – RINSE THE LID, BODY AND BAG WITH CLEAR WATER AND LET DRY FOR A FEW MINUTES.

STEP 6 – RAISE THE LID, FILL WITH SEED AND HANG UP THE FEEDER SO YOU CAN CONTINUE ENJOYING THE BIRDS.
